Mass Murder; Italy as USA?

Mass murder is the act of murdering many people in the same place, typically simultaneously and it does not require a perverse behaviour. The actors of these crimes are characterized by negligence of being captured, by the fact that they act in a public place and often their motivation comes from revenge. Although there are differences between mass murder committed in the USA and the ones committed in Italy, this article tries to show the common factors that can be found between them. Through the analysis of three different cases we try to understand how particular psychological traits, frustrations, firearms availability and social isolation play a role, in order to increase prevention of these massacres and the identification of specific treatment programs.
