Abstract:
Rectovaginal fistula (RVF) is defined as a pathological
communication between the rectum and vagina, accounting
for 5% of all anorectal fistulas [1]. It is one of the most
symptomatic benign diseases in women with a recurrence
rate after surgical treatment ranging from 0% to 80%
