Individui, libertà, comunità. Riflessioni a margine

The article deals with a recent book by Angelo Panebianco, 'L'automa e lo spirito', in which he makes an effort to conciliate the predictability of social behaviour and individual freedom. Panebianco refers to his well-known positions about liberalism which he attacks as unable to defend human freedom. The author discusses this issue and concludes with remarking some theoretical gaps in the reconstruction Panebianco offers of these political/philosophical concepts.
